Francisco and Suzanne started in June 2015 the Duo Cibeles. They have built up a very various repertoire. Consisting of the highlights of the classical repertoire and arrangements of movie lyrics or jazz songs.
Duo Cibeles took masterclasses with Katalin Sebestyen, Marc Tooten, Károly Botvay (Bartok Quartet, cello) Sarah Kapustin, Stepan Jezek (Bennewitz Quartet, violin), Valeryi Sokolov, Wen-Sinn Yang, Prazak Quartet and with the first violinist of the Cuarteto Quiroga, Aitor Hevia. They have played already several concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic and Spain.
Francisco Deheza (1992) began his violin studies with his father and teacher Hernando Deheza Valcarel, first as a private student and later as a student at the conservatory ‘Pablo Sarasate’ in Pamplona (Spain). In 2009 he continued his studies in the Conservatorio di Musica ‘Luisa D’Annunzio’ of Pescara in Italy with the teachers Francesco D’Annunzio and Marco Fiorini. During his last year of the Bachelor in Pescara he got the opportunity to do an Erasmus year at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with the Hungarian teacher Katalin Sebestyen. Since September 2015 he has started his study with Katalin Sebestyen at the Prins Claus Conservatorium of Groningen in the Netherlands.
Francisco took masterclasses with Vincenzo Bolognese, Massimo Spadano, Michele Torressetti, Ettore Pellegrino, Iuliu Hamza en Maurizio Sciarretta. Not only for violin solo he took masterclasses but also for chambermusic he had lessons with the Massimo Quarta, Daniela Cammarano, Alessandro Deljavan, William Grant Nabore and the Prazak Quartet.
Since an early age he played in different orchestras. In 2011 he participated in the orchestra ‘Pergolesi Spontini’ Orchestra of Jesi for a tour to Sint Petersburg. In 2012 he went with the ‘Opera Tuscia Festival’ of Viterbo to Los Angeles. He played with the conductors and soloists Jose Maria Sciutto, Michele Marvuli, Raffaele Napoli, Stefano Vignati, Roberto Molinello, Lorenzo Castriota Skanderberg, Giovanni Allevi, Mirko Barani, Adam Klocek, Paolo Morena, Bruno Pratico and Marta Magdalena Lelek. He played with the Xabier Chamber Music Orchestra as konzertmeister ans as a soloist. He performed several concerts as a soloist with the orchestra of the conservatoy ‘Luisa D’Annunzio’ of Pescara en the ‘Antonio Vivaldi’ Chamber Music Orchestra.
In 2011 he won the first prize at the International Competition ‘Paolo Barrasso’ of Caramanico Terme and the third prize in the National Competition Citta Di Camerino. In 2014 he won a first prize in chamber music at the International Competition of Citta de Penne with his piano-violin duo with Stefano Petrocco. With this duo he was participating in the chamber music course of the Ars Trio in Rome and took lessons with the teacher Konstantin Bogino. At the beginning of 2014 he collaborated with the Arditi String Quartetin the Auditorium Adriatico with who hes was giving concerts in the theaters Fedele Fenaroli di Lanciano, Teatro Rosetti di Vasto and in the Museo Colonna di Pescara (Festival Internazionale de’ll Adriatico).
